Hi so random question here.

My lo has just finished rising 3's and I'm hoping to meet up with some of his friends during the holidays.

The thing is I haven't spoken to his best friends mum. I've seen her once or twice whilst waiting to collect him from school but haven't had the chance to talk to her. I've spoken once to his grandfather saying I heard a lot about his grandson and he said he heard a lot about my son too.

I noticed his mum has posted on the FB group for their nursery. Would it be weird if I send her a message asking if they want to meet up?

I'm kinda of shy and not the most confident and new to dealing with parents of my lo friends so hence why I'm asking for advice.

I think go for it, I would love it if someone messaged me in this circumstance. It will be lovely for your son.

Definitely not weird - I’ve done it in the past with my son’s school friends and made two of my own best friends this way!

Thank you all for your replies ☺️ I shall message the mum and hopefully arrange something
