Packed lunch box recommendations

Ds 2 is going on a trip with his nursery and needs a packed lunch. Looking something easy to clean as he might not eat everything being a toddler, but that I can also put little ice packs in as the weather is to be very hot. Ideally something not too big so he can carry it himself as well! We do lots of day trips but we've always used a cool bag so it would be nice for him to have something he can carry himself if we go out walking and reuse it. Any suggestions?

I'd go for a littlelife backpack (or similar) with a sistema (or similar) plastic lunch box and one of those light ice packs.

We always found they got on better with long and flat ones lunchboxes they could unzip and see everything- this sort of style- I find toddlers often use the inside as a kind of plate. They are easy to wipe clean after and keep some cool in. We bought some small food tubberwares with the click down lids from the £1 store to put inside for things like cut up fruit.
