Our 12-year-old DD needs a new phone. We gave her a Nokia brick phone but we need something with a bit more functionality for things like making the journey home through South London. Has anyone tried the XMD Fusion 1 - or one of the other stripped-down smartphone-style phones? Looks pricey - especially if you factor in the £5 monthly fee - but cheaper than a new iPhone!
