Hi all,

We’ve been introducing our baby to a bottle of formula a night for the past couple of months, turned out he would only take Kendamil premade so we stuck to that for a good month however I wanted to get the powder version to help our bank account, always have some of hand etc.

Tried it two nights ago and it went well he took about 150ml (other than this he is exclusively BF) however the following day he pooed a lot more and then this morning he’s nappy is like this. Is this normal for a combi fed baby or powder Kendamil?

With the premade formula his nappies were pretty much like BF nappies but this seems like a big change ? He did have carrots yesterday but he amount he was going to the toilet was before he tried the carrots so I think it’s linked to the milk change ?

Also don’t think he’s allergic as we’ve done all the milk removal , introduction but 30 ml etc etc as his sister has CMPA but is the premade stuff softer on their tummies or is this normal as we changed it?

I will say that the Kendamil powder seems so frothy?

He seems fine gut and gas wise at the moment but I wonder if that will change soon? x

She didn't have a nappy like this but my baby couldn't take powdered formula and none could tell us why! No allergies, had it bad with reflux for a while but settled on omeprazol, carobel and pre made formula. Our bank balance was severely hit!
