My 3 year old daughter is pretty much potty trained, the only problem is when she sits on the toilet for a wee, it shoots forward on to the floor. She has to sit right back but it still happens. Does anyone else have this problem or any tips?
also, she very rarely does a pooh on the tolet she likes to do it in her knickers. She knows she shouldn't but she still does it. Surely it's easier to control your bowles than your bladder? She wakes up dry most mornings so she must have good control. I'd be really greatful for any advice.

Get her to lean forward!

have you tried bribery maybe a sticker chart or marbles in a jar?

Do you have a potty? my dd never used to like pooing in the toilet (I'm guessing because of the 'splash') but didn't mind the potty although I also think that letting her run around naked until she did a poo that went down her leg and freaked her out helped .

The wee thing used to happen a lot to dd on the nursery toilets. The seats are a differnent shape to the ones we have at home. I think leaning forward may help.

I've heard that boys respond well to having a ping pong ball down the loo to aim at- might be worth a try with your little girl???

Thanks for your advice, I'll definatly try. I like the idea about the marbles in a jar.
