Mosquito repellent for children?

DS keeps getting bitten at night by what we think is mosquito’s. He woke up in the morning with quite a few bites on his legs arms and one on his cheek.

The windows are open in this heat! Can anyone recommend any repellents or plug ins suitable for a 2 year old?

Where are you?

mosquitos unlikely yet in UK. Fleas, bed bugs, midges more likely.

anyone tried these?

We’ve had mosquitoes in the south; we’ve got some plug in UV lights and a citronella spray. DS started to react to the bites so we got a net for over his bed.

I’ve used these on holiday as extra protection but I don’t think it works that well on its own and I always use a spray as well. At home I just use the plug ins from Boots and it seems to keep the mosquitoes away.

Jungle formula do a plug in that kills them. Not to be used near aquatic life.

@Dal8257the plug in from
boots is sadly only for 8 years and over!

I used this when in Corfu and use it for when I garden here in the UK. It’s really good. You can buy it on Amazon:

I think it’s referring to kids age 8 and over to be able to “operate” the plug.

This plug-in unit can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the plug-in unit.
