Morning,

This is going to be a bit controversial 😳

My little one starts school this September. Aged 4.

I like to go on trips out and about during the week. Usually a Wednesday or a Friday.

My question is can I now and again take my eldest out to a trip?

Thank you

I think technically they aren't in compulsory education until after 5 so you could. However most schools are hot on attendance under 97%. We were close to it with a bout of D&V and a couple of temperatures.

Trips will be for school holidays or the weekend from September. And there are lots of school holidays. I think that they are only in school 33 weeks a year? Less of ots a public school?
