Going abroad on a plane ride and pool holiday with my 3 kids (9,6 and 17months). My toddler is at that stage of wanting to be in at everything and need constant entertainment (which I am obviously happy to give) but looking for some suggestions from others with kids similar age as to what keeps your littles amused. Especially looking for ideas for the plane, and sitting on loungers at the pool side. She will also be in the pool hopefully, and potter around for walks etc, but trying to be prepared
All ideas very welcome

Yes, those drawing boards in the first response are great! We have one that we don’t have out all the time, it’s reserved for planes, meals out etc so always very exciting.

Also the little libraries, if there’s one available in a theme he likes, they’re just around 4-6 mini books in a little box but my DC was obsessed for ages.

Sticker book / colouring book and crayons.

Plenty of snacks!

Cheap plastic tea set is the best possible toy for at the resort, he can pour water from the pool and bring you cups of “tea”

Small toy cars also good as they can “explore” around where you are sitting

For the plane I’d just use screens I’m afraid for when he gets bored with just looking out the window etc. Anything with parts that can be dropped will be a nightmare.

Brilliant suggestions everyone, especially love the idea of the tea set at the pool - genius!! Thanks
