Is This Chicken Pox?

DS has been sent home from nursery from spots that have appeared, Pharmacist suspected Chicken Pox but said I would need to see how it progresses.

how long before it should progress to confirm if it is Chicken Pox? So far there has not been any change this this morning in regards to the spots.

should I keep DS home tomorrow even if the spots have not changed or increased?

No other symptoms currently, except the spots

One on hand looks chicken pox-y, you will know in the morning if it is.

Could this be heat rash? no change in spots all day so far

It could be a couple of insect bites, but doesn't strike me as heat rash. It's not very clear on the photos. Hope he recovers soon.

The GP didn't have an idea on what this is either! Anyone experienced this?

Approx 2 weeks ago did he have any illness or one big spot come up ? This is often a precursor for chicken pox

Could they be flea bites? We had fully treated cats who we had no idea had fleas. But somehow they did and we got bites that looked like this.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks quite mild, whatever it is. How many spots are there, as I can't see many and they don't seem prominent? Are they itchy? I'm still leaning towards insect bites.

Did the GP recommend any treatment?

I don’t think it’s chicken pox. So what did GP recommend? I wouldn’t be too worried if my DD had those as they look very mild.
