Hi,
I reported someone to SS annonymoisly by email.
i have a lot of reasons why I won’t get into but the person I reported knows it someone close to them. The information in the email is in so much detail they would know it was me if they saw it.
The person is saying she is going to request a copy of the original referal so she know who did it. I know she can access records cos it says online she can do a SAR but will she see the exact email? Or just information about the concerns
if she find out it me she will make my life hell she already said she going to lie to social and get her kids to lie and I’m the only one that can keep watch to make sure the kids are ok. And now worried for my family safety if she know it me
if anyone work for social please tell me can she can see the original email I sent?

Hey, hopefully this will bump your post up for more replies!

I have no idea, but I strongly doubt social services would show an original email or letter to anyone.

Did you tell her you reported her if she said she was going to lie Confused

I’ve got no idea if they would show her but it does seem unlikely.

I’m guessing she has a violent man living with her?

They will redact your personal details on a DSAR

Yes they would show her the email, but it would have all of your personal details removed so your email address, sign off etc wouldn’t be visible
