Baby won’t sleep without swaddle

Any quick help will be appreciated
baby is now 5 months. Can’t swaddle him no more as he can get out of it. He slept so much better with a swaddle now I put him to bed and he just rolling around for ages and lively and crying etc etc
any swaddle alternatives ?

I had to gradually do it one arm at a time, I used a gro bag so could unbutton one arm for a few nights then the next, it took a couple of nights but she got used to it quickly

You're lucky you got so much time with the swaddle. Mine started rolling at 9 weeks. It's painful, there is no alternative. You need to put up with a few weeks of broken sleep while the rolling excitement wears off. Also, you want him to get plenty of practice. Many babies sleep a lot better once they can roll and sleep on their tummy.
