Can anyone help us figure out bedtimes?

Two DSs, just 5 and 2.5. Until recently they’ve both slept 7-6ish with relatively easy bedtimes.

5yo has suddenly stopped sleeping before about 9pm (seemingly he really doesn’t need the sleep, he’s still up early ish and he doesn’t seem very grumpy.

Assuming it’s not just a phase… how would you time bedtimes with the pair of them? If it was just older DS I’d have dinner with him (at the moment DH and I eat after their bedtime) then do a later bedtime. But with the little one as well (who still needs an earlier bedtime) we’d end up having to split it between us and doing bedtimes for ages.

If you’ve got a similar age gap, how do you work it?

I have a 4 year old and 9 month old and if the older one needs to go to bed later than the baby, then we all eat together, take them both up together and do shower/bath, PJ's, etc. and then older one plays in her room while I put the baby to bed. Then (depending on timing that day), either that's enough and the older one goes to bed, or the older ones comes downstairs and has a snack and a play and then bedtime for her is just a quick brush teeth and a story.
