Hello!
I’m concerned about my baby’s babbling and Google has lots of conflicting information. I have contacted my health visitor who has done a referral for audiology.
He is 9 months (and 1 week) and does single syllable consonants regularly (ba, da, ga, ha). However his canonical babbling is rare - I think I’ve heard baba a handful of times, but he does hahaha quite often (it isn’t while laughing, but is repeating the ha sound), and he does “rarara” a couple times a day. Does rara and haha count as canonical babbling? I appreciate I’m overthinking it, but I’m just concerned he’s delayed in this area! Thank you
