Baby slept 12 hours last night as usual, but had 4 naps today, he's been so tired he only usually has 2. He felt hot earlier, took his temp and it was fine. He was whingy but not really upset and has been drinking fine/plenty wet nappies
Put him to bed tonight no issues, but woke up a couple of hours later and his whole body is boiling. I've stripped him off and he's fell asleep on me but still no temperature.
His room has been the same temperature as it always is and he's been dressed the same so no changes there
Anyone experienced this?

Sounds like he's coming down with something. Just keep an eye on it, Calpol if he does get a temp and let him sleep if that's what he needs. Hope he gets better soon

My DS is terrible for feeling boiling but temp says normal. If mine seems in pain or distressed I give calpol anyway, even without a temp. Poor thing, hope he feels better soon x

Yeah same, often my baby feels hot to the touch and is obviously under the weather, but no temperature on the forehead thermometer. I give Calpol if baby is upset or keeps waking up really restless and out of sorts.

Thanks everyone. Terrible night last night, he would only sleep on me, managed to get him down in my bed at 4. I did give him some Calpol just in case, he seems a bit better today x
