I have a 5 week old baby and yesterday and last night and this morning she seems to have slept more than usual and hasn’t been bothered about feeding too much. She is formula fed. I have read that this could be due to a growth spurt?
she doesn’t have a temperature but I’m just wondering whether it’s normal for this to happen? Has anyone else had this?
she had thrush on her tongue which we are currently treating so I thought that could also be a factor.
last night she slept from 10.30 till 12.30 then had 3oz of milk then woke at 5.30 (longest stretch she has done and then had 1oz of milk. Then she has slept from 6.30 and it’s now 8.20 and is still asleep.
I know every baby is different but the anxiety of something being off is killing me!

Yeah her nappies seem fine 👍🏻 it’s such a guessing game when they’re so young xx

As PP said if getting plenty of normal wet/dirty nappies and not got a temperature then she’s probably ok. But I get you, it’s hard not to worry when they’re soo small. My LO (also FF) started sleeping through at 5 weeks from 10pm still 5am and dropped his 1am feed. He upped his daytime feeds to accommodate less milk overnight. Enjoy it while it lasts!
