Nappies of a baby...

Is there anyone else out there with babies (ds2 now 4mths) who HAS to have a bath basically every time they have done a poo?

DS1s stuff was always contained in the nappy, but ds2, different story it goes everywhere.. it may sound like I don't put the nappy on correctly or don't change it enough but I am confident that I am and have tried numerous types of nappies now in the hope it can at least be contained better!

Initially I thought it might be due to bm making it mad, but even with formula introduced still got the same problem it's just thicker. I have never known a baby poo like this one, surely I can't be the only one? I partly worry there might be something wrong, but the colour is yellow, I would imagine as he doesn't poo daily then it has to be a quantity issue.. need some reassurance

Is the nappy simply overflowing or is it leaking?

Nope your not on your own.

My ds2 poos the same time everyday.
First thing in the morning and it gushes out of the nappy, so we end up doing a full clothing change.

He's 5 months.

Thanks Nbg, really thought there was something bit odd going on, have changed lots of nappies on lots of different babies before (btw I don't have lots of children, other people's babies ) and have never known anything like it!!

I know when he poos too, so we did adopt a arm held position where I think is best for it to be less messy but am pretty unsuccessful, and a couple of times when I go to change the nappy he starts again, (ds2 however finds change of clothing times hilarious ands ds1 (5yrs) says his brother if he wants an extra bath does a poo on purpose
