Newborn stage

I’m a mum of 3 , a 3 , 2 and a newborn. I feel like I’m drowning. I’m exhausted I’m hungry I haven’t showered in days and I’m just really really
overwhelmed. I feel like I shouldn’t feel this way as I have the perfect family but I just want to feel human again. Is this normal?

Newborn is hard. Really hard. It doesn't matter if its your first or third. And with your third you still have 2 other small people.
If all the small children are fed and asleep (except the newborn cluster feeding) then you are doing amazingly x

Sending you hugs. Is there anyone who can hold/marshal? Family/friend/neighbour? Are the other two at nursery?

Perfectly normal. I am beyond exhausted with 2 :-) 3 under 3 is a proper challenge, of course it is easy to end up putting your needs last, but I'm sure you know you can't pour from an empty cup. Just take any kind of help possible whenever possible. Easier said than done, I know, I don't have any help myself, but it does take superwomen powers taking care of 3 small children, and no mother should do it alone ideally. Partner, grandparents, babysitter, hopefully older 2 are in nursery for some time? Think the age they are in is the worst, and it will get better, now just try to take one step at the time, take them to fresh air outside as much possible, some TV time won't hurt when you need just a short break.. No magic answer I'm afraid, just solidarity. And congrats on 3,was always my ideal number of children :-)
