Weaning - dairy, egg and soy allergy

Anyone have any blogs/books with recipes for the above? The usual weaning books and Instagram accounts have egg and cheese in like 90% of their recipes. And if they're "vegan", they have soy. My baby is essentially on a meat, veg and carbon diet 😅 i need some inspiration. He's almost 10 months. I especially need some snack inspo. I think we need to start giving him snacks.

He hates coconut yogurt 😂

I'm bored of cooking bolognese, tuna pasta and chicken curry on repeat.

Dairyfreemum on insta has a book that's meant to be good for multiples allergies.

It's such a pain isn't it, you'd think 99% of baby weaning diets is veg and cheese muffins / bites when you start looking at recipes.

Avocado and nut butters are your friends as well :)

Would he eat a stir fry? Obviously Soy Sauce is out but you can get No Soy.

This recipe book was a big help to us. The recipes are free from the top 14 allergens but there are notes on each recipe for which of the allergens you could add in if safe. My daughter has a lot of allergies so we used the first tastes section as inspiration for different pasta dishes.

I often see copies in libraries if you wanted to try before you buy!

Sorry forgot the image - it's the allergy free baby and toddler recipe book.

I think for snacks, I'd mostly keep it simple – crispy breadsticks, various sorts of crackers, toast fingers. Toast and crackers can be spread with houmous, nut butters, mashed avocado. Suitably sliced fruit and veg, cold cooked meat for another protein option.

If you did want to do some baking that he could eat, there are quite a few recipes for 'egg free baby muffins' about, mostly based on different fruit or veg flavours.

Mince and tatties
haggis neeps and tatties
casseroles
chilli con carne
soups

all great weaning foods without those allergens

My son (18 months) is allergic to these, plus nuts and lentils.
We do snacks:
gingerbread men (he loves to help bake and ice them)
banana muffins
banana pancakes
fruit
crumpets
Hot cross buns
hummus and flatbread
breadsticks
fig rolls
if I’m lazy digestive biscuits
avocado and fake cream cheese
bagels
toast with jam/marmalade

for dinners
home made pizza with vegan cheese
burritos
roast dinner & veg
salmon and potatoes & veg
aubergine pasta bake
sausage and mash
fish and chips
chilli and rice
home made curry with parathas
thai green curry
home made lasagne with vegan cheese
Jacket potatoes with beans and tuna
chicken stew and dumplings
sausage pie
creamy chicken and broccoli pasta (with fake cream cheese)

it’s hard but once you get into a roll it does get easier, it’s a lot better now he is eating the same as us and not having to purée things.
