Buggies and 3 and 4 year olds

Has anyone else got a dc who won't walk much? I am due to have ds2 at the end of August and also have dd who will be just 3 at that point. I was hoping to manage without a double buggy but I'm not sure. If we're out for the day she definitely needs it after a while (although is a good walker generally) and ds is 4 and 3 months and still hates walking. He's ok if he's mostly scooting or biking but you can't always take either.

Am I going to need a double again (aaargh) ? The first two were 19 months apart so we had one but only for a few months and then I used a buggy board but with three of them I'm not sure what to do.

You can get a bike thing that attaches onto the pushchair and you can tow him - not sure what its called but looks cool.

I do have a double, but don't use it that often tbh.
I usually take a pushchair with a buggy board, or take the little buggy and a sling. that way I can have 3 yr old walking abnd baby in buggy, or sling baby and let 3 yr old have a ride if he needs it.

erm, your 4 year old? think you're going to have to be harsh and make him walk

I have one of those bike things and they're great. am about to ditch the double buggy (yah!!) dd2 who is 3 and a half walks everywhere but school is over a mile away, so she hops onto buggy bike thing.
I would def not be using double for such a big gap.
