Im sooo exshausted

Just that really im so tired
Ds4 dd18months both dh and me work dh full time rota basis and myself minimum 20hrs to 30hrs depending on dhs shifts we are passing ships always 1 of us with our children rarely get days off together when dh is on a day shift i work late when hes on lates i work mornings when he is roterd off on weekdays i work a full day barely get any sleep as dd is going through a sleep regression and is very clingy during the day if i sit for a min on the sofa she cries to be on my knee etc ds4 is very good overall but its hard to engage with him 1 on 1 because dd is so demanding ds4 attends nursery approaching his final term currently the hols so its been tough weathers taken a turn been to every park within a 5mile radius been out to the shops/libary soft play those kinds of things looped hubby has been working all weekend will get home around 5ish then im in tommorow we have all been poorly coughs colds and a bought of norovirus inbetween we dont have any family to help out both my parents have passed and dh mum has passed also its just me and dh we lost our lovely dog not long ago aswell and it still hurts ds missing her loads
Dh and i spoke lastnight about it being 4years since we last had a meal just the 2 of us not sure why im posting really feel abit silly now its what we signed up for after all just dont have anyone to talk to really apart from hubby

I can understand you being tired. If you’re struggling have you spoken to your local Homestart to see if they can let you have obe of their volunteers for a couple of hours a week?

And if the toddler is that needy and has been unwell, have you tried them with a dose of Calpol to see if their general demeanour improves? Flowers

Have you got any relatives or friends that could babysit whilst you and your husband go out for a meal or something? Sometimes even just a few hours away from the kids can help you get some perspective and energy back as well as to reconnect.
