18 month old not eating at home

Hi everyone,

looking for some advice. My nearly 18 month old eats well at nursery (I’ve cross referenced this with different staff) often eating most or all of the meals given to him there. However he will not eat the meals that I make for him at home. I’ve tried a variety of different foods and textures and he just refuses it. The only thing he will eat are cherry tomatoes and toast! Which obviously he can not sustain! Out of desperation I have given him some Ella’s baby food pouches which again he will eat (suck out of the tube) I really don’t know how to combat this as it’s not an issue with the food as he eats a wide variety at nursery. At first I thought he was just full but it is the same on his day off nursery and the weekend. Any advice appreciated!

He must eat more than tomatoes and toast at home.

He doesn't drink milk? Cereal? Sausages? Fish fingers? Pasta? Biscuits! Butter on the toast etc

Have you tried refusing to offer an alternative ? and then offer later on if still refusing?
It is good to keep a bit of thr safe food present with each meal and then refuse to offer more of it.
