Anyone wait until first two were at school before having a third?

If so, does having 3/4 years between number 2 and number 3 make a big difference? Had you kept all your baby stuff? Is it unfair to impose that age gap on the third one?

??????

I did.. I have a 3/4 year gap between mine. ie ds1 (13) ds2 (9) and dd is (4 coming up 5)
Did have to get new baby stuff as dd was an after thought.
mine all get on fine most of the time. I would say that the only thing that we have to contend with really is theme parks where they can all go on different things because of their heights/ages.

but on the up side, becuse of the age differences and different bed time etc they all get one on one time with me at some point through the day!

NO, but wish I had! Especially as I went on to No. 4.

MamaG · 21/05/2008 13:00

DD will be 9 in August
DS was 4 in March
DC3 will be born in October

so similar gap for each

Don't mind the gap between oldest two, but didn't keep baby stuff (ouch) as wasn't planning No 3!

Hi Bloss

I did and it was a big age gap. Tis usually great fun.

Mine are 16.5, 12.5, 3.8 and 1.8 so would prob have done it quicker tbh.

aGalChangedHerName · 21/05/2008 13:01

Oh had to buy all new baby stuff as i hadn't anything left too.

cazboldy · 21/05/2008 13:02

ds2 started full time school 2 days after ds3 was born (he was number 4 though)

I felt sorry for him, and dd2 was born 15 months later

oh good
I will also loko forward to that (except I'll say 9 and 4 - 9 - how did that happen?!)

hannahsaunt · 21/05/2008 13:08

I'm in the same position as Fio - ours were 6.11 and 4.8 when ds3 was born. We still had everything as this had been the plan all along. Ds1 & 2 absolutely adore ds3 and it's v nice to go back to all the baby things again. Like Fio, it's often assumed that he's my first and we go through the whole 'you can't be old enough' thing . It's great!

hmm thanks alot guys. DH is dead against but I am quite broody at the moment and would want another I think when both are at school, 2010. Have a real issue at the thought of having NO PLACE in the baby aisle of Tesco..... Strong reason to bring another child into this world I feel.
