One year old keeps falling and banging her head on her cot

My DD doesn’t walk yet but can pull herself up and stand, she has recently started constantly pulling herself up and falling onto the bars or headboard of her cot and crying because she’s hurt herself, it’s happening every single time multiple times, what do I do? I have a travel cot with netting instead of bars should I swap her into that so she doesn’t keep hurting herself?

Why is she falling so much?

She can’t sleep in a travel cot for more than a few weeks, but if that gives you time to fix the problem, it might help.

Is her balance generally pretty poor?

Yeah I'd just swap to the travel cot until she's got to grips with standing.

I think a travel cot is okay aslong as you get a proper mattress for it.
i know what it’s like op, babies into everything wanting to escape everywhere, they bump heads it happens !!

Because she’s only learning to stand now so she’s not stable yet, can she not? Even if I have a proper mattress for it
