Infant with teary eye

Hi there. My nearly 11 month old has just had a bout of Covid and is a lot better now, though she has still got a slight sniffle and a cough.

She also seems to have developed one watery eye. Eyelid slightly swollen when she wakes up so it looks a little smaller than the other eye (quite subtly) but this gets better through the day. Tears pool in the eye but it isn’t red, doesn’t seem to be itchy or irritating, and she doesn’t seem to feel anything or be sensitive in that area. So doesn’t seem like typical conjunctivitis to me.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this before - is this something that should go away with the virus? I wouldn’t have found it weird if both eyes were watery with her cold symptoms - but seems odd to happen in just one.

I would ask your Pharmacist for their advice Smile
