Bad parenting

There is a parent whos child is cruel to my child. It is consistently reported to the school, to no avail. This child does not get suspended.

The Mother of the child is also horrible. Seems to have a lot of people around her, a bully herself.

How would you deal with this situation? Abusive parent and badly behaved with witnesses, child.

Are these people around her to report and help the parent. I don’t understand what they see in her. Consistently nasty things are said by her unprovoked. What does this person get out if this behaviour? What could their sick abusive motivation be towards myself and child.

Advice please? Why do these people have children?

think you need to be more specific what kind of things is the child doing and what is mom saying?

Theunamedcat · 24/05/2025 06:21

So, my dd left the school

Basically she was bring bullied by a girl the school kept preaching tolerance and saying she had a "bad home life" with her parents one day it came to a head and DD retaliated she did to this girl exactly what had been done to her the school went insane threatened to call the police etc etc so I pulled her from the school and the school she went to were really no nonsense on bullying they didn't care where you came from once you were through the doors you BEHAVED and she did

How old are the children?
how long has your child been enduring this?

In my head I’d knock her out (lol) but in actual real life being honest I’d probably have my child move schools.

I ended up moving dd to another school. It was clear that the head was going to do nothing and 'supported the bully' as well as the mother, who has been absolute vile, including verbally attacking another parent in front of her, and threatening to verbally assault me.

Dd like a different child now, massive upheaval for me, but she so happy at her new school, and none of this drama, no coming home covered in bruises with her belongings or her work ripped up or ruined.

Thanks for response. Physical things like hitting other children over the head with things, blaming others for their problems, persistent name calling. Worse than normal rough playing of a child.

Its too late in primary to move our child and this other child is getting on the wick of every boy in the class. So it is unanimous.

My son has now told me to not tell the school anymore and when I have they do nothing. So we are keeping a record of it but what else can you do? Any suggestions welcome, thank you. I fear he may follow my son to high school in a few years because it isn’t being sorted.

The mum is a nasty thing, when my son tried to involve her son in play on computer, she slagged us off over voice. We all well thought of by everyone else.

Can you not send your child to the nearest sweet little Christian school? Your child needs to be rid of the brute.

Notlookingforwardtosummer · 24/05/2025 15:42

What has been happening to your child? How often? Do you complain each time?

bettyboo9 · 24/05/2025 18:29

Have a meeting with the governors

They don’t move them easily where we are. Its a difficult one as we aren’t moving either!
