Any recommendations with this brand? Have always used pampers DS a bit older how and intend to switch mainly for price.

I used them for all of my 3 and was happy with them. Better than Sainsbury’s own. Pampers are extortionate!

Sunshineclouds11 · 23/05/2025 18:15

I go between Aldi and Morrisons Nutmeg. No issues with either.

i couldn't be paying Pampers prices 🙈

Found either Aldi or lidl really very good for the price, sainsburys nappies gave my dgd’s really bad nappy rash.

Dd used lidl nappies, very happy with them.
She's now uses their pull ups on dgs, again, they're great

LoopyLou94 · 23/05/2025 19:46

Experienced too many poo overflows with them to recommend, sadly

WaltzingWaters · 23/05/2025 19:47

I found them really good. Used the
from newborn and still use now DS is 3 for nighttime. Very few leaks at all!

milkhoarder · 23/05/2025 19:47

Aldi nappies were always the best fit for DS1, but weren't great for DS2 (both were still in nappies at the same time so wasn't a decline in quality issue!).

I like Lidls better than Aldi, I find them much like pampers. Pampers are great but expensive so I always stuck with lidls

tortiecat · 23/05/2025 20:43

We’ve used all the supermarket brands on both babies with no issues - Aldi is absolutely fine. The only brand I’d absolutely swerve is Huggies - DS leaked his way through most of a pack so never again!

Senzaunadonna · 23/05/2025 20:47

Lidl were great for my girls but didn’t work for my boys whereas Aldi are great for the boys. Sainsbury’s also fine for us and are more or less the same price I think. The only time I’ve ever bought Pampers was when we needed size 0 for my twins!

Not that it matters at all but I love the current design on the Aldi size 4 nappies 😂

RatOfTheHighway · 23/05/2025 20:52

Have loved Aldis nappies for my 2, didn’t get on with Lidl. Think it’s purely based on the shape of your baby so worth experimenting. Definitely did not feel like pampers or Huggies were superior in anyway to supermarket brands and that’s without factoring in the big price difference.

bedtimestories · 23/05/2025 20:56

Aldi's, thankful they go upto a size 8

Jk987 · 23/05/2025 20:59

Supermarket brands are fine. I don’t get why you’d pay double or triple for the same thing from Pampers.
