Dropping sunny at 4 months?

I wouldn’t normally consider this (I have a 2.5yo who won’t give up her dummies for anything!) but my little boy is going through absolute hell with colds. It seems he has something new weekly because of my little girl bringing stuff home from nursery and he is having such a rough time of it. I’m not sure how much longer he’s going to be experiencing congestion and a blocked nose but it feels like every time he manages to clear it, the next day he’s bunged up again.

For naps it’s not a problem because we’re contact napping so being upright and often outside helps clear the sinuses but at night on his back is an absolute nightmare!

Do I ride it out until his immune systems a bit better or do I try and cut the dummy now? and how do I do it? I certainly can’t get the oldest off hers so it might be better to do it early?!

do you mean dummy? Took me a while to work out that sunny wasn’t your child

Yes! Autocorrect and I can’t change the title 🙄

I'm not really sure I understand your thought process. My DD never had a dummy. I would have thought the earlier you can get rid of the dummy the better really
