I’m worried about dd’s health.

She gets colds quite often and she has had reoccurring verrucas for years that we haven’t been able to get rid of for good. I’ve never had a verruca so I don’t know why she gets them. None of my other kids have them. Am I overreacting?

I would say you probably are over reacting but there's nothing to stop you having a chat with the pharmacist about it. If you're giving her a good diet and multivitamin, I don't know what more would help for a child. Maybe a tonic? But they can be hard to digest.

This reminds me of a case in one of those health mystery programmes. The child had repeated verrucas and it was part of an overall health condition.

What are you currently doing to support her immune system?

  • Give a high quality vitamin C and vitamin d (mighty kids brand is brilliant).
  • varied diet
  • lots of time outside
  • magnesium to support sleep

This is the 'low hanging fruit' so to speak, so try these (if you aren't already) and see what happens over 3 months. If no change, then see the docs.
