why did regression have to coincide with friend's 2yr old's soft play party???!

what a horrendous day. dd weed herself continously throughout his 2 hour party.

in the wendy house, on the slide, on me, anywhere except the loo or potty. left early. couldn't hack the embarassment. only knew 2 other mums there, who could only show pity. theirs aren't trained yet.

it's ridiculous. she's been trained a month. dry within a weekend. no problems what so ever. going 2 hours in the car with out a blip. thought it was going like a dream.

then today.

so i've done an archive search on here. seems the 1 month regression is very normal.

please god let it get back on track soon...we have chester zoo on thursday..her birthday... then her actual birthday party on saturday.

tell me it'll be ok.

It will be OK - they all get it in the end. I think that at first it is all new and exciting. Lots of praise and dare I say rewards. Then they get the hang of it and we relax on the praise and for them the novelty wears off. So hang in there - don't go back to nappies as that is the beginning of the end. Prepare yourself for quite a few more accidents - pack loads of dry clothes and keep smiling!!!!!

have been thinking that DS is regressing, he had his first accident whilst out and has had a couple at home, I have brought the stickers out again but I feel so anxious again. We shall get through and so shall you.
