Hey! My little girl developed a rash on her face at about 4/5 weeks which initially looked like baby acne as it was only on her face and in her hair. We was told baby acne. Then it wouldn't go awake after a few weeks and her poos became a little odd so we were put on aptimil pepti 1 which worked perfectly. Then one evening at 9 weeks her poos became very mucousy so we were put on neocate which she immediately rejected, then her poo cleared up after we put her back on the pepti 1. Now 12 weeks old she developed the same rash as as the start on her face but she seems fine in herself, she's happy, she's not screaming or fussing after feeding and the rash isn't any worse after feeding. She is going a day or two between poos but this is somewhat normal for her. Wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone else?

Sorry not experience with this but just want to say she's beautiful!

Is the rash appearing after bathing, have you ruled out creams etc? Also if she's BF have you checked your not using any creams that could irritate her?

Are you breastfeeding or formula only? This looks like an allergy rash perhaps milk.

You could also try changing your washing detergent, could possibly be contact dermatitis.

The rash seems to flare up then disappear after a few days when there’s been no change to her routine, she’s on Aptimil pepti 1 formula and he poos and behaviour has been fine she’s always happy and hardly ever fussing. We’ve used the same washing powder since the start and I wash everything in it including our bed sheets and clothes. The only cream I use is a doctor prescribed cream and it seems the rash just flares up randomly without direct contact with anything. It’s so strange. This picture is a few days later and I’ve not changed anything ?
