14 week old sleeping 11 hours without waking

FTM here! My baby is 14 weeks old and sleeps 7-6 everyday. (I know 7 is early for her to go to bed but she just can’t keep her eyes open past then!) when she wakes at 6, she’s happy, smiley and chatty. I make her a 6oz bottle, but she only really drinks 3oz then goes back to sleep until 9am. Again, she wakes up happy and chatty but she will drink the full 6oz bottle. I guess my question is, is it a problem that she is sleeping that long and then only having a small amount of milk when she wakes up? I don’t know why I’m worrying so much about it! She has her bottles done through the rest of the day and has no issue letting me know she’s hungry. She also barely sleeps through the day, which is why she sleeps so much at night? She probably gets 2 hours sleep spread throughout the day.

How is her weight?

Sounds like the dream baby

Mine was the same (though usually 7-7). 7 isn't too early if it works for your baby. Mine needed masses of sleep, both through the night and as naps but was the happiest child all day.

How is her weight?

Her weight is fine as far as I’m aware, although she hasn’t been weighed for about 3 weeks as the health visitor hasn’t been and the scales are broken at the local children’s centre. I’ve found somewhere else I can take her to be weighed but I can only take her on a Thursday as I have to do it at the same time as a class. Just thought I’d ask in the meantime.

This is reassuring! A few people have said it’s too early for her age and I should be starting bed time at 9pm, but she’d be a nightmare at that time 😂 come 6pm she’s already done with the day so it’s bath, bottle, a cuddle and bed for her! I think I’m more worried that by 6am she’s clearly not ravenous which I thought she would be, but after that feed she drinks the full 6oz for the rest of the day!

Wish I had sleepers like that lucky you! I wouldn't worry if she was hungry she would let you know
