School holidays

I have a living with child arrangement order for my child. They see dad 2 weekends out of 5. Dad is trying to bolt weekends either side on a weeks holiday onto his half of school holidays. The holidays according to school calendars run Monday to Friday unless it is more than one week. What do other people do please as he is driving me mad.

Can you explain? Do you mean instead of 7 days he’s trying to take 9?

So he is trying to say the children are holiday from 15.30 Friday to 8.45 a week on the Monday so it is 9 days

I guess it depends on what is in the children’s best interest. Would they enjoy and benefit from 9 days with their dad? Would it enable him to take them away for a holiday or to visit family? Would it be good for them in terms of quality bonding time? Or Is it more for his own convenience rather than theirs? Is the relationship tricky? How old are they?
