So DS is 14 and for the past year or so I have been finding vapes in his room, most of the time it's when he's either fell asleep or im waking him up in the mornings for school. I have tried everything to get him to stop but seems like nothing is working. When ive asked where he gets them from there's always different excuses 'someone at school gave it me' 'i brought it from the shop' 'i swapped it for food at school' 'i found it'.
I have gone to school multiple times about it and gave them consent to spot check him. These are what I've tried.. banned off the xbox, stopped him going out, took his phone off him (there was messages him buying one off his mate), took all his money from him (so he can't buy one), taking him to and from school (so he can't stop at shops)
His dad (were not together) has banned him multiple times from go karting which is his hobby with him. To which now his dad wants to stop but I don't know my thoughts on that.
This morning I've found another one and i don't know what to do, I'm just at a loss cause it seems like whatever I do doesn't work. Does anyone have any advice?
