My 3 year old had one spot on her arm the other day that looked like a hive, I think she has been scratching it but now it has spread and it is swollen and red looking. It's also hurting her as she is holding her arm in an unusual position. Any ideas on what it could be? It's more swollen than it looks in the photo

You could go to a pharmacy or doctor? It looks more like bites but I’m not medically qualified!

Could be an allergic reaction, but when I had hives they were very red, blotchy, spread quickly. Photo attached.
Has she had chicken pox? Might be worth taking her to a pharmacy to have them look at it.

Are you giving regular piriton and calpol? If not, I’d try that for a day or so and see if it helps.
