Challenging behaviour since starting preschool

DD, 2.10 started preschool 4 weeks ago, 2 days a week. She also goes to a childminder 2 days a week and has been there for a year.

Obviously I understand we’re going through a transition but her behaviour has done a 180 since starting, she’s shouting, kicking, crying all the time. Everything is a whinge, her manners have gone out the window and bedtime is a shambles. CM said she’s really struggling with sharing, and she shouted at the cm today which she has never done before.

She actually enjoys preschool and they say she’s fine there but we’re finding it all really difficult and exhausting. We don’t ever let it slide, we pick her up on it every time, we tell her it isn’t kind, we remove her when she throws a strop, and we let her know it is absolutely not ok to hurt people - she apologises of her own accord, but then we just get exactly the same the next day. I’ve run out of ideas, and could really use some. She was a really kind and thoughtful kid but that seems to have disappeared.

We’re due to go on holiday in a week and I’m really not looking forward to a whole week of managing this ☹️ anyone been in the same boat? Did it just take time?

She’s on her best behaviour at preschool and then letting it all out at home. Maybe the routine there is too challenging or tiring for her right now
