Disposable nappy leaking on a night

DS 13 months has woken up the past few nights absolutely soaking - through his baby gro and this morning through his sleeping bag too. Its waking him up earlier than usual (6am) but he wont go back down.

He's in pampers size 4 which is up to 40lb, he weighs 24.

Any suggestions?

You could try a washable wrap over the disposable. Little Kiwi wraps are good for this as they have a soft outer layer and are well cut to cover most types of nappy. Plus they're quite well priced for the quality.
Tesco were the best disposable we ever tried, especially after lidls changed their plastic outers for breathable ones.

I would second the Boots Booster Nappy Pads, worked for all three of mine and they have changed the style recently, thinner, but just as absorbent.

I used to have the same problem with my 10 month old, I use real nappies in the day (Bumgenius) and a Huggies Super Dry size 4 over the night no leaks since then, Pampers were crap and she was soaked through by six am!
