Hi,

My son was 6 months on the 11th. He isn’t rolling over (he is turning on his side) or sitting independently. He is grasping for toys etc.

is this normal at this age? Thank you ☺️

Mine is the same. He can just about roll onto his side. His sister was sitting and crawling backwards (pushing really..) at this age. I’m not worried and think it’s pretty normal, I can see he is developing in general (for example very recently he has started shouting at me when he sees me eating… we are about to wean him).

My little one rolled fully onto her belly at seven months and sat up independently at eight months. He'll get there!

Thank you for the reassurance! Yes my daughter was rolling and trying to sit by now. I guess they are all different. He’s much fussier with food than what she was too 😂

My son didn’t roll either way until 10 months (my daughter was walking at 9 mo so a huge difference), but he walked at 14 months. Now he’s much older I can see it’s just his personality, he’s very relaxed.

Does he have a big head? My DS did and struggled was rolling/sitting because he was so unbalanced.
