My almost two year old has always had a hard time staying still but it's becoming more of a struggle now he's bigger.
He doesn't like being made to stay in one place for example at the dentist or doctors or in a queue. He cries hysterically and ends up being sick ever time. No amount of distracting helps. I try to obviously avoid these situations as much as possible but sometimes its inevitable. This week we were out and had to evacuate the building as the fire alarm was going off, he had a huge reaction to having to wait to return for our things. He's obviously in complete distress and I don't know what to do or how to help him, has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal for his age?
