I'm visiting gullivers world with my son and his friends. I'm a size uk22 5ft5 and 17stone, has anyone any experience of the rides and are they plus size friendly. He's 8 so it's not the baby rides he will be using. I have lost 6stones and I'm trying my best to be a healthier version of myself for him. I'm just scared ill get rejected and embarrass him infront of his friends so may be better to know not to even try. Thanks so much for any info or advice, I appreciate you!

as I write this, there are no replies to your post by the time I send it they will probably be loads🙄

I'm sorry, I can't really help as I haven't been there,

I just wanted to say congratulations on the weight loss so far!!

And to ask at 8, with a bunch of his mates there would he want you to go on even if you were a size 6?? Some kids would and some kids wouldn't.

Are you on Facebook? There is a group: F@t Girls Fit- theme park advice, reassurance and support for larger people

You can ask to join. It’s a UK based group and I’m sure you could find some posts about Gullivers or ask a question.

Oh so there weren't loads of other posts 🤣, hopefully this will be a little bump to get to the attention of people that have been there!!

Thank you! 😊
I'm hoping he has fun with his friends but feel like he will want me to tag along.

I requested to join that fb group, thank you.
