10 month old needs a chair

Hi!
First time mum to a 10 month old boy. When he was a tiny baby we had a baby rocker swing chair that we moved upstairs once he was around 6 months and we use it mostly when me or my husband are showering. Recently my 10 month is on the move crawling standing basically only sitting still when he sleeps.

Does anyone have recommendations for a safe chair he can be in while we shower? The rocker has straps but he can quiet easily just pull up and out of them no matter how tight they are.

Any recommendations would be appreciated thank you in advance! 😄

I just used the high chair - get the cheap IKEA one for upstairs if it's a bother taking it up and down x

Shower one at a time? shower with the baby? Shut the bathroom door with baby inside so they can watch you shower but can't escape. This too will pass!

Put him in his cot with some safe toys

Get a travel cot you can put at the bathroom entrance so he can safely play while you shower

It's much safer to have him in a playpen or cot. Babies should be supervised in chairs, especially when they are mobile. If he attempted to climb out of a chair he could fall out or get entangled in the straps, resulting in injury.

Yeah. Keep him in the shower whilst you shower.

or high chair. In the bayhroom

or use the other half. Wait till you’ve got someone else to help and then shower.

You need another strategy. You can't strap him in a chair for long anyway. Single mum or?

Cot with safe toys and at the appropriate level so he can't climb out. Use the flickering parent if you must or take it in turns to have the baby while the other showers or change your routine to make it work
