DS6 recently loved ‘Paddington in Peru’ on Netflix. It felt like the right level of excitement, mystery and wholesomeness for him. He usually gravitates to nonesense or things that are a bit violent and scary and we end up turning off.

Can anyone suggest any similar movies he might enjoy? I tricked him into watching PiP and he was hooked pretty quickly.

just to add I don’t mind him watching some nonesense but it was great to see him really enjoying something well made with a proper plot and real life actors!

Well there are 2 other Paddington films, and all of Pixar.

The Toy Story films, Finding Nemo/Dory, the Cars series. All the Aardman films, the Lego Movie, Matilda (the original movie and the newer film based on the stage musical), the various versions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If you can find it, the film of Danny Champion of the World is gorgeous.

thanks! Yes he does adore the Aardman stuff also. Will look for Danny.
