Watery eye when cying - 3 weeks

Hi,

my baby is 3 weeks old and when he has a crying fit ive noticed he sometimes gets a watery eye, though only in one eye.

is this normal???

Hi Bluebella,

It could be sticky eye, not a problem just bathe with cotton wool and cooled boiled water. It's connected to their tear ducts not being properly formed yet I think. My baby had this and it cleared up in a week or so.
