Patience and to be less of a cut throat b**ch (in order to set a good example for dd)

How to react to a jab in the eye, a finger up the nose and a headbutt without swearing

I've learn the art of deligation and continue to make full use of my skill, with each year that goes by!

how to get no sleep and still function
how to do everything onehanded
just how fast an apparently immobile baby can get across a room in pursuit of something dangerous or valuable
not to wear clothes that cant be drycleaned
how to turn what was about to be a swear word into something else, very nearly in time
that annabel karmel's children are not like other children (or at least, not like mine)
that poo comes in an alarming range of colours and consistencies
oh and the dog has learned to run. fast.
