New lion king at cinema - suitable viewing?

Thinking of taking my 5 year old to the cinema tomorrow. Film options look a bit crap.

Has anyone seen the new lion king prequel? Is there some scary bits to it? Any worse than the original "dad death scene"?

It's a long film. My 7 year old granddaughter found it boring!

No worries. It's a really handy site to keep bookmarked for future queries about films, TV shows, games and books.

She’s not wrong! It’s very dry. Some nice songs though.

I wouldn't have taken my daughter at 5, some scary bits. And as others have said, some bits are boring

So did I. I felt a bit guilty about taking DD and her friend. They're 7 and just about made it through.
