Can't help with your Tesco query sorry. Have you got an old fleece blanket you can cut up to use as liners instead of the paper ones? (I much prefer the fleece ones anyway)

hi washersaurus, dp has just returned from tescos who apparently stopped selling the liners 6 months ago. Will hunt about for some fleece tonight, I use them sometimes for ds2. Will have to see how they fair with dd's newborn poop!

the are great for newborns, it sort of sticks to the fleece and reduces chances of it leaking out the sides just dry pail and rinse in the machine before washing (if you don't already)

Well it doesn't suprise me that they have stopped selling them - they don't really want to encourage people to ditch disposables do they.

I had one of their mailings recently that was questioning the proven financial/environmental advantanges of washable nappies. Ironically, the same mailing was also touting their environmentally friendly/organic products.....

I have used fleece liners with bf newborn poo on both my boys without a problem...I just couldn't be bothered with having to keep tracking down paper ones anyway

will give them a whirl then! we usually get liners from waitrose but pulled up in the car park there this evening to find shop closed for a refit! and I had been carefully eeking out the last few liners...

this not that much help but not that far away from you.

I can't find a single shop in Hitchin that buys them but I did manage to get some in Sainsburys Luton on the A6 on the way out of town towards Bedford. they even sold some reusable nappies as well.

mylovelymonster · 18/05/2008 21:03

for future ref, I think Hitchin Waitrose might have them

thanks moocowme and mylovelymonster - went to waitrose hitchin yesterday and they are temporarily unavailable there! fairhaven in letchworth sells the bambino mio ones though!
