To think this isn’t acceptable?

So I have a son, 12 years old.

barely has a relationship with his father for issues I choose not to go into and my sons own choice.

i have checked my sons phone today, and seen a message from him father, first message asking if he liked a certain bike ( he sent a pic )

then proceeded to send him another message stating

“let’s do a deal, we start seeing each other regularly, and I’ll maybe buy you a bike like it “

my son didn’t respond to the message.

now, my question is, is this acceptable?

surely it’s emotional black mailing? Not right basically.

anyone want to have their input?

TIA

It isnof course not acceptable. He is awful. Block his number after you've screen shot.

Bloody hell, that's awful. I'd be tempted to reply 'Mum has bought me a bike, like she buys everything else'. But realistically, talk to your son to make sure he's okay and both just continue to ignore it.
