How old was DC when you started a routine?

And if so, what was it? DS is 7 weeks old and I am wondering if I should be putting him in some kind of routine, e.g bed/naps at a certain time. I am feeding on demand but there seems to be a pattern emerging although some days it can all fall apart.

I would say at this age, don't worry too much about a routine.

I started with changing my son for bed at 7pm, and putting him upstairs in his cot to sleep, to start the bedtime routine (even though he did get up loads).

The naps will fall into their own routine eventually, I worried so much about my son napping, but he just got on with it.

You seem to be doing really well, and a routine will come, and it will also fall apart on some days.
