Their behaviour or my mood?

I am a single mum to 2 children aged 4 and 7. They see their dad very regularly and we have a good co parenting relationship.
I love them more than anything. But I find myself getting so irritable and stressed with them on a regular basis. My eldest doesn’t listen to me, I ask her to do something 5 or 6 times before I end up shouting then she does it. They’re full on children, my eldest is very hyper and I’m not always sure how to manage her.
I feel awful when I shout but I just find my tolerance is becoming less and less and I don’t know if it’s my mood that I need help with, if I need different strategies to help deal with their behaviour or if they’re just being ‘normal’ kids but I’m not dealing with it well atm.
If anyone has any advice or has been in similar situations I would appreciate anything that can make my life feel more in control.

When my dd was little all us mothers used to say that our children would be dead if it were not for vitamin B complex. It takes about three weeks for it to kick in, but you'll find you are a lot less irritatable
