Toddler suddenly not sleeping

I really need some help as not coping at all. My toddler (21 months) has stopped sleeping through the night. This is night 5 and he is screaming already (7:45pm) Last night he did go down until 2:30am. We've tried everything. He's the right temperature, not hungry or thirsty, has a clean nappy, isn't unwell (had GP check his ears), Calpol isn't doing thing. Cuddles with dad seems to help but when we transfer him back to his cot, he starts screaming again. His nap is 90mins and he isn't ready to drop it yet, so I don't think that's the problem. Screens are off at least half an hour before bed, and the last two nights we haven't had the TV on at all. He's just not tired at all, and seems to manage with only 4 hours sleep now. I'm completely at a loss and falling apart and it's only been 4 nights :(

My little one randomly done something like this a few months back… no idea what it was he would wake up screaming and took ages to settle him down and get him back to sleep.

I would say it may have lasted a week I can’t remember now but it has stopped.

i think it may have been a regression or separation anxiety.

but sending you a hand hold it know it can be difficult running on such little sleep but it should pass soon x
