Stopping breastfeed for an EBF baby!

My daughter is six months old and I really want to stop breastfeeding. However, she is exclusively breastfed and won't take a bottle.

Breastfeeding hasn't been easy for me and I'm so proud of myself for forgetting to 6 months exclusively however it's still painful, I keep getting mastitis, i'm going back to work soon. I want to have stopped before then and she feeds so regularly because my supply doesn't seem to catch up which is exhausting me, especially with a toddler in tow as well. I feel like with solids on the way this is the time to stop.

But what can I do to get her on a bottle? She just downright refuses it at the moment so should I just cut her off cold turkey from the boob till she realises she has to have a bottle? That feels a little cruel.

Hello, I was in the same position and stopped at 6 months because I went back to work
My partner ended up taking the reigns and the evening we came back from a holiday he told me to leave them to it and he would persist all night if needed
Not going to lie the baby was upset for a while but after an hour or so they were fine and we never looked back
So we went completely cold turkey
